FAQ's FOR PALM LEAF PRODUCTS
The leaves that fall naturally on the ground which are collected and washed with fresh water to remove dirt and dust. The leaves are then heat pressed into the desired shapes and sizes. Finally, the Palm leaf plates are cleaned, sterilized, and packaged and ready to reach and to be use at final consumer.
No. Our palm leaf products are made from the leaf of the Areca palm tree. Palm oil, which is linked to mass deforestation, is harvested from a completely different variety of palm tree.
It is 100% Biodegradable products and there are not any Chemicals, Essence, Waxing, Glue or other additives used during the manufacturing process of the plates and bowls only clean water and heat is to be used throughout the process.
Fallen leaves are completely natural, therefore each Product is having the some color variations from LIGHT to DARK color and also products are not treated with any chemicals or additives, hence the original natural colors remain same for the products. As well as thickness is also depend on the fallen Palm leaves, So that there are some normal variations to be reflected in thickness also from one item to another items.
Yes, while it is very durable, it is a disposable product and recommended for single use only. If it was only used for light, dry snacks, it may be possible to wipe with damp cloth and can be Re-used. Prolonged submersion in water will cause them to soften, as they are purely natural and not treated with any protective coatings.
Our dinner ware from fallen leaves/palm leaf plate are produced in south- India and it is innovated in different new shapes and produced at factory. Then it is ready to reach up to you after completion of all process successfully.
No, only naturally fallen dry leaves are to be used for manufacturing of these products, otherwise it is going to be waste. Hence we are using the same as to innovating a new products from the fallen leaves without cut and harmful to TREES. And sourced raw material is completely Environment free and sustainable.
YES, Our Palm Leaf plates is significantly more sustainable other than Plastics and other Raw material used products. It’s perfectly safe to heat in microwave for up to 2 minutes on high or in an oven up to 350 degrees for 45 minutes and also you can store our products in the refrigerator or freezer safely.
